| GN 6583 was one of two hundred cars rebuilt from the GN 21450-21939 series in 1967 at the St Cloud car shop into the GN 6500-6699 series by adding a new strengthened side sill, 10' plug door and Evans DF-2 loader, along with the post 1966 cut down ladders and removal of running board.
