Tony Fernandez General This shot is historic because it portrays two of UP's SD45s bought for Kaiser Steel's Provo, UT, to Fontana, CA, coal trains in conjunction with DRG SD45s bought for the same purpose. Those ten UP SD45s did NOT have the "table-top" antenna platform on their cab roof as did all of the other UP SD45s equipped for RCS service. Usually, two units from each road would be used on the run, along with a UP caboose that had a big green letter "K" on the side where the letter "P" (for pool service) would normally be. 2/25/2009 10:57:58 AM
